A Special Collection Celebrating the Year of the Horse

Jim Thompson unveils an exclusive collection in collaboration with Pomme Chan (Tachamapan Chanjarassang). Created in celebration of the Year of the Horse, the collection brings together Pomme Chan’s distinctive illustrative style and Jim Thompson’s signature textiles in a seamless artistic dialogue.

The launch was marked at Royal Bangkok Sports Club, where Antonia Porsild, Anchilee Scott Kemmis, and Anna Sueangam iam showcased the designs, reinforcing the collection’s elegant connection to the equestrian world.

Inspired by Pomme Chan’s childhood memories at her father’s horse stable in Nakhon Ratchasima, the collection reflects a lifelong bond with horses, especially her beloved horse “Tachamapan.” Years spent riding and growing up close to nature shaped her sense of confidence, freedom, and resilience, now reinterpreted through expressive textile design.

At the heart of the collection are four distinctive patterns.

Victory Pattern captures the spirit of determination through racehorses leaping over obstacles, reflecting Pomme Chan’s 22 year artistic journey defined by perseverance and belief in her vision. The design is presented across multiple handbag silhouettes.
Victory Bound emphasizes speed and strength, portraying horses surging forward in powerful motion. A refined color palette and blurred backgrounds enhance the sense of velocity, while textured silk scarves add depth and tactile dimension.

Meadow Melody offers a softer narrative inspired by tranquil countryside scenes of barns, open fields, and orchards. Horses symbolize freedom and simple joy, expressed through an elegant silk scarf design.

Gallop Glory channels the electrifying energy of the racetrack with bold depictions of galloping horses and jockeys. Vibrant racing inspired hues and metallic accents lend luminosity and a sense of prestige.
