'The Lioness and Her Cub'
A tender moment of instinct and protection unfolds as a lioness lifts her cub onto her back, helping it reach towards a fluttering butterfly. Gently holding the cub’s tail in her mouth, she keeps it close and safe from falling.
The gesture captures the complexity of motherly love: fierce yet tender, protective yet not always immediately understood. What may once feel like a restraint can, with time, reveal itself as an act of care.
Nearby, a nest and bird evoke warmth, abundance and the quiet presence of love. Together, these symbols tell a story of connection and understanding, reminding us that some expressions of love reveal their meaning slowly, and are felt most deeply with time.

'Elephant and Her Calf'
A story of gentle strength and enduring love
Created in celebration of Thai Mother’s Day, this piece draws inspiration from the elephant, one of Thailand’s most cherished animals and a powerful symbol of the lasting bond between mother and child.
In nature, a mother elephant remains close to her calf for years, walking beside it, guiding and protecting it until it is strong enough to find its own way. This quiet companionship reflects a love that is steady, patient and always present.
A monkey and myna bird appear alongside the elephants, familiar figures from the Thai landscape that bring a sense of warmth and everyday life to the scene. Together, they echo the simple, constant forms of love that surround us, much like the reassuring presence of a mother.
