Key Responsibilities
•Support the development and execution of HF category sourcing strategies through market research, cost analysis, and supplier performance data.
•Manage the full procurement cycle: vendor identification, RFQ preparation, bidding, international negotiation, contract coordination, and purchase order processing.
•Maintain relationships with yarn and raw material suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and alignment with business needs.
•Collaborate with HF Operations, Calendar Manager, Central Planning, and Quality teams to align material sources with production timelines and technical requirements.
•Conduct cost breakdowns, price benchmarking, and total-cost analysis for yarns including cotton, polyester, blends, and recycled fibers.
•Track global raw-material trends and provide timely insights to support decision-making.
•Monitor supplier KPIs (pricing, delivery, quality) and highlight risks or improvement areas.
•Drive process efficiency through better data utilization, documentation accuracy, and compliance with procurement policies.
•Prepare reports for management: cost variance, supplier performance dashboards, and negotiation outcomes.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
•4–6 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in textiles, yarn, furniture, or home-related materials.
•Strong analytical capability with experience in cost modelling, spend analysis, and supplier comparison.
•Proven experience negotiating with international vendors (Asia, EU, US preferred).
•Knowledge of yarn production processes (spinning, weaving, dyeing) and sustainability standards (Oeko-Tex, GRS, BCI) is an advantage.
•Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
•Proficient with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa); advanced Excel or data tools (Power BI) preferred.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy in data.
