Key Responsibilities
Contract Management and Legal Documentation
• Providing legal support with a primary focus on trademark and intellectual property (IP) management, contract administration for lease agreements and fixed-term service contracts.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, legal documents, and corporate records.
• Oversee the contract lifecycle process, including contract intake, legal review, execution, filing, renewal monitoring, and records management.
• Provide legal advice, risk assessment, and practical recommendations on business transactions and operational matters.
• Ensure legal documentation complies with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Corporate Governance, Compliance, Licensing, and Intellectual Property Management
• Manage corporate registrations, licenses, permits, and statutory filings with relevant government authorities.
• Support corporate governance activities, including preparation of resolutions, corporate records, and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate trademark applications, renewals, portfolio management, and communications with external agents and authorities.
• Support copyright protection initiatives, online brand monitoring, infringement matters, and intellectual property enforcement activities.
• Coordinate compliance-related activities, including Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide recommendations to ensure organizational compliance.
Legal Operations, Reporting, and Stakeholder Support
• Prepare legal reports, contract status updates, management summaries, and other legal documentation as required.
• Support litigation, dispute resolution, investigations, and coordination with external legal counsel.
• Provide legal guidance and support to business units on legal rights, obligations, compliance matters, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and strategic projects.
• Participate in legal risk management and contribute to the development of internal legal policies and procedures.
Continuous Improvement and Administrative Support
• Maintain and organize legal filing systems, contract repositories, legal templates, and databases.
• Identify opportunities to improve legal processes, workflows, and document management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support departmental administration, budgeting, record keeping, and reporting activities.
• Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal, corporate legal, or compliance-related functions.
• Strong knowledge of Thai laws and regulations, including corporate, commercial, labor, and contract law.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, drafting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Team-oriented with a proactive and service-minded attitude.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Good command of both written and spoken Thai and English.
Other Qualifications/Certificate:
• A lawyer license preferred.
• Notarial Services Attorney Certification is preferred.
• Certification or training in the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) / Data Privacy is an advantage.
• Certification or training in Intellectual Property (IP) is an advantage.
