Key Responsibilities:
- Construct pattern from sketches or pictures.
- Generate pattern from original sample garments.
- Efficiently placed pattern for the marking and cutting in order to calculate consumption of fabrics per garment.
- Generate Tech-pack that gives detailed explanation of how to sew the garment.
- Create Spec-sheet for the quality control purposes.
- Pattern Grading in to various sizes.
- Prepare Patterns needed for production stage of the garment making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in fashion design, graphic design, business or fine arts.
- Previous experience as a Patternmaker.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design models.
- Proficient with computer drafting software including CAD.
- Excellent fine motor skills.
- Experience with measuring, snipping, milling, and cutting tools.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to work to a deadline.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
