Job Propose:
As a Material Inventory Control Planner, your primary responsibility will be calculating and analyzing demand forecast requirements. break down what is the material usage to be used—balance material supply and demand in line with the company's financial and organizational objectives. As part of the S&OP (Central Planning) team, you will be responsible for driving and exceeding team objectives related to enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing internal customer service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
· Review and analyze materials inventory levels weekly/monthly to provide strategic recommendations to optimize inventory levels through improvements to the product and materials strategy along with inventory control initiatives and policy improvements.
· Capture, monitor, review, and analyze product demand forecast and flow requirement to plan for materials availability (based on BOM requirement), alerting stakeholders of potential issues and supporting stakeholders in developing action plans and initiatives accordingly.
· Prepare material usage to discuss with the business team and management team.
- Fabric - S8LOP meeting
- Ground/Yarn - Yarn deep dive meeting
- Overall inventory - Inventory meeting
· Create PR and prepare information for management to get PR approval.
· Establish "Substituted Material Recommendation “by analyst material aging, value, and feasibility to use to team members to consider using existing materials rather than buying new materials.
· Take the lead for material deep dive meetings and action items. Monitoring of action plans to address supply chain issues and risk management.
· Provide advice and alerts related to functions of significant forecast changes on a timely basis.
· Support the Production Team to arrange and manage material availability and make sure no production disruption.
· Assist manager in establishing how to calculate Fabric, Ground, and Yarn demand based on assortment and merchandise plan, set up the process to review Material availability weekly basis, and how to escalate any potential issues.
· Foster a culture of performance, continuous improvement, and collaboration with management, peers, and subordinates.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Logistics, Supply Management, or equivalent/ related.
· Minimum 2-5 years of experience in material planning/production planning, Manufacturing industry, retail, and trading industry experience as an asset.
· Ability to write or articulate in English.
· Company policy, procurement policy/ procedure and. related regulatory
· Process improvement, project, and change management.
· Strong communication skills, including presentation abilities.
· Excel user with demonstrable knowledge and understanding.
· SAP knowledge and understanding.

· Ability to collaborate with various levels of management and employees.
· Attention to detail, whilst maintaining a strong sense of summary and ability to synthesize.
